Manual Polarimeter

Our APM-4 Easy-to-use manual polarimeter with a measurement range of -180° to +180° and is suitable for measuring the optical rotation of optically active substances, with an accuracy: of 0.05°.

APM-4 polarimeter is installed with a 589nm sodium lamp. Switch on the power, the polarized light radiates to the polarizer filter. The user is able to observe the distinct visual fields through the eyepiece. Place the test tube into the measuring chamber and rotate the vernier knob until the visual fields appear the half shadows. Recording the vernier scale. Measurement is done.
